Actually, this is amazing news.
I, Callum Fitzpatrick, on Monday 21 March 2011, predict that this will change drinking culture in Australia.
Maybe.
Sailor Jerry, the most amazing vanilla flavoured rum in the world, has finally hit mainstream Oz by being introduced to Dan Murphy's.
For those of you that haven't tried it before, pour a shot of SJ over ice, add coke and squeeze in a wedge of lime.
Then, take a sip (or a gulp if you are so inclined) and take the time to realise how good - or not bad - life really is.
And for all you cynics that ask: "why not just add vanilla coke to Havana Club or Bacardi?" or "just drink some Captain Morgan."
Try some SJ for yourself, and shut the fuck up.
